For example, I made a payment to an employee, the transaction is labelled 'Salary', and the automated Chart of Accounts mapping is correct.

This can be directly imported into your Quickbooks Online account.
Generating the Quickbooks Ledger Entries report in Cryptio
Ensure you have done these steps before exporting Ledger Entries:

Ensure you have synced/imported your Chart of Accounts.

Using the Chart of Accounts to set rules to automate the mapping to transactions.

Once completed, the software will be able to generate Ledger Entries reports.
To export Ledger Entries, go to the Reports page and then follow these steps:

Click on the + Report button
Using the drawer on the right input this data:

Type select Ledger entries

CSV Format select Quickbooks
-
The date Range is up to you.

Finally, click Create.
Importing the Quickbooks Ledger Entries report into Quickbooks
Step 1: Log in to your Quickbooks Account
Step 2: Click on the settings icon, then the Import Data button located under Tools
Step 3: Click on Journal Entries
Step 4: Import the cryptio Ledger Entries file (note the date format is yyyy-mm-dd)
Step 5: Once imported, click on the Magnifying Glass icon, and click on the Journal Entry to review the entries.
Step 6: Review the work you have done and when ready click save!
