What is the Native Staking Module?

Cryptio's staking module enables visibility and control over rewards management through an accrual accounting approach. It distinguishes between principal and rewards withdrawals, pricing rewards either by accrued prices (when earned) or by fair market value (when withdrawn). This ensures precise, compliance-aligned accounting for institutional clients seeking maximum financial reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

1. Comprehensive Staking Management:
   • Monitor staked balances, validator performance, and accrued rewards in real time.
   • Automatically classify transactions (staking deposits, principal withdrawals, rewards).
2. Accurate Rewards Pricing:
   • Choose between two methodologies:
     • Accrued Prices (default): Prices at the time rewards are earned.
     • Fair Market Value (FMV): Prices at the time rewards are withdrawn.
   • Principal withdrawals are treated as non-taxable events for compliance accuracy.
3. Validator Performance Metrics:
   • Analyze validator performance to optimize staking strategies.
   • Access historical data to track trends and make data-driven decisions.
4. Proof of Completeness:
   • Identify and flag missing deposit or withdrawal addresses to ensure all staking activity is accounted for. 
5. Compliance-Ready Reports:
   • Generate detailed, exportable reports on staking activities, rewards, and transaction history for internal analysis or third-party audits.
6. Auto-Labeling and Categorization (in Transactions page):
   • Transactions are automatically labeled into categories like staking deposits, rewards, and withdrawals.
   • To streamline reporting and mapping processes.
