Kucoin - How to import my transactions

👋 Welcome! Here's a brief guide on how to import all transactions from Kucoin onto your Cryptio workspace using an API Key.

Step 1: Locate Your Kucoin API Key

Start by logging into your Kucoin account.

  1. Log Into Your Kucoin Account - after logging in, you can hover over the avatar, in the drop-down menu, select API Management, Create API, as shown in the image:Untitled (12).png
  2. Creating API - A window will pop up where you can choose either API Trading or Link Third-Party Applications. You will have to choose the API Trading option. You can then proceed by adding a API Name as well as a API Passphrase (The API passphrase holds significant importance. It is strongly advised to record and securely store it. The API passphrase will be necessary for authentication when utilizing the API). ScreenRecording2024-02-26at1.52.11PM-ezgif.com-video-to-gif-converter.gif
  3. You have successfully created your API key! - Congratulations! You've successfully created your API key. The new API key will be generated and displayed. Remember, your Secret Key will not be shown again, so store these keys securely.

⚠️ During the creation process, pay attention to the relevant prompts and rules on the API creation page. Here are some points for your special attention:

  • The API passphrase is crucial. It is highly recommended to write it down and store it in a secure location. You will need the API passphrase for verification when using the API.
  • If you want to whitelist the IP address, be sure to click on ‘yes’ on the IP Restriction section and include Cryptio’s IP address: 63.35.116.119
