With Cryptio's DeFi module, you can:
- View your DeFi position summary on the dashboard
- Track your DeFi activities within liquidity pools in our DeFi module
Currently, we are supporting DeFi activities on major networks like Ethereum, BSC, Avalanche, and Polygon. Profit and loss calculation is already available for Aave, Uniswap, Lido, Curve, Sushiswap, Compound, Convex, and MakerDao. In the meantime, our tech team is actively working on further expanding DeFi support to more protocols and blockchains.
What is DeFi?
Decentralized finance (DeFi) is an emerging financial technology that challenges the current centralized banking system. DeFi eliminates the fees that banks and other financial companies charge for using their services and promotes the use of peer-to-peer, or P2P, transactions. Some of the biggest DeFi protocols are Uniswap, Aave, Compound, Sushiswap, and more.
What can you track with Cryptio’s DeFi module?
This initial version of our DeFi support will allow you to easily sync in any activities you’ve made on a DeFi platform involving ERC-20 compatible tokens on the Ethereum, Avalanche, BSC, and Polygon networks. Our DeFi module tracks:
- Providing liquidity, e.g. to WETH/USDC liquidity pool on Uniswap
- Lending, e.g. AVAX on Aave
- Acquired governance token, e.g. on Avalanche
- Staking, e.g. on Lido
- Gaining yield, e.g. on Opyn
- Farming, e.g. on Sushiswap
- Locked asset, e.g. on Binance smart chain
- Depositing assets, e.g. to Toucan on Polygon
See your DeFi activities by following these steps:
For how to connect a wallet to sync DeFi transactions, check out our articles here.💡 Tip: For the latest DeFi pricing and position information, update your import sources and visit the DeFi module page.
First time accessing the DeFi module:
- Go to the Dashboard.
- ❕Note: The first time accessing the Cryptio’s DeFi card in the Dashboard, you won’t see any information even if you have imported transactions and this is normal.
- Find the DeFi Overview card.
- Select Browse all positions.
- It will direct you to the DeFi module. Wait for a few seconds and all positions will load.
Afterward, you can access and see all your positions in the DeFi module directly on the left-side navigation bar.💡 Tip: Use the filter functionality at the top right corner to find the transaction you are looking for. More capabilities to come.
What can you see on the DeFi module?
DeFi card
A new DeFi Card on the dashboard provides an overview of contract positions for a given workspace, presenting:
- Total net asset value and rewards held in contract positions
- Total supply held in protocols
- Total Unrealized and realized PnL
DeFi module
A new DeFi module providing a detailed view of each contract position of a workspace exposing:
- The network on which the contract position lives and the application used
- Position type and status
- Deposits, Claimable/rewards, and Total value (deposit + rewards) in Fiat value and Token balances
Further information in the pop-up drawer:
- Unrealized and realized PnL in fiat value
- ROI / Yield
- Impermanent Loss
- Related transactions (only Ethereum transactions, more coverage to come) 💡 Tip: Filter Chain > Ethereum to see transactions that might have a link to the Transactions page
